Raise your hand if you love putting a chuck roast in the crock pot? It’s one of my favorites. The shredded beef is just wonderful! Being a keto queen myself, I make this meal once a week. My husband and I could just eat the meat plain, but the other day I wanted to kick it up a notch. I added a balsamic gravy on top and O M G… it was AMAZING!
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp unsalted grassfed butter
- 2 tbsp almond flour
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup fresh balsamic vinegar
Steps:
- In a sauce pot on medium high heat, add the butter. Let it melt and begin to simmer.
- Sprinkle the flour in the pot. Use a whisk to stir for about 30 seconds.
- Add the stock and the cream.
- Continue to whisk for another minute or so.
- Add the balsamic. Whisk to stir.
- Lower the heat to medium. Allow the mixture to thicken, about 5 minutes.
- Once the desired consistency, pour on top of the shredded beef.
- Enjoy!
