Usually Fall Sundays in my house are filled with candles, chunky sweaters, Ugg slippers, leggings, and an unlimited pot of Chili on the stove. I make it early in the day so we can fill up a bowl whenever we are in the mood. This recipe is my favorite and it’s so easy!! Check it out….

Ingredients:
- 1lb ground beef
- 1lb Trader Joe’s Chorizo
- 1 yellow onion, diced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- salt/pepper
- 1/4c chili powder
- handful paprika
- handful parsley
- 1tsp red chili flakes
- dash of cinnamon
- 28oz Canned Peeled Tomato
- 1c beef broth
- Jalapeno slices (toppings)
- Sour Cream (topping)
- Sharp cheddar Cheese (topping)
- Corn Chips (topping)
Steps:
- Put a large dutch oven on the stove on medium/high heat.
- Add the onion. Cook until translucent.
- Add the ground beef and chorizo. Using a Pampered Chef Meat Masher break up the meats. Cook until browned.
- Add garlic and spices. Stir to combine.
- Using your hands, squeeze each tomato, individually, over the pot. Let the juices fill the pot. Pour any leftover liquid from the can into the chili.
- Add beef broth.
- Allow to come to a boil, then reduce heat to simmer. Cover the pot and let the flavors cook through for 45 minutes.
- Add your toppings and enjoy!! 🙂
